Another fabulous Historical Romance from Claudy Conn, had me hooked from the first page.
Chelsea a young beauty, high spirited and outspoken most of the time, finds herself taken under the wing of her godmother for her launch into London Society. Lady Daisy enlists the help of her very charming nephew Lord Brett Wainwright asking him to squire Chelsea around on her first London season, much to his dismay. Lord Brett has no interest in young maidens and marriage, preferring to dally with the more mature ladies. We meet Chelsea's best friend Sam,their playful teasing and banter made me laugh. This story has some unexpected events, as the path of true love rarely runs smooth, I'm sure you will enjoy a wonderful romance.

It is no secret that I am not a historical fan but I am a Claudy fan, so I went in to this with an open mind and by chapter two I was hooked! Staying up into the wee hours to finish it.
Claudy's heroine's are always full of mischief and feisty, which I adore and her hero's may be a little rough around the edges but when they fall, they fall hard. I have no complaints about this story at all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable tale and I think she's starting to convert me into a historical fan :)
