Description:

Harry likes pretty things. He likes to look at them. Sometimes that isn't enough. He wants to get closer. Naughty Harry.

Devon, in the south west corner of the United Kingdom. A county of cream teas, stunning coastlines, the beautiful wilderness of Dartmoor and, in the city of Plymouth, brutal, violent crime.

DI Charlotte Savage and her colleagues are struggling to deal with a spate of assaults on young students and the police are feeling the pressure as the investigation goes nowhere.

Then a body is discovered on a local beach and the hunt is on for the murderer. But stopping at just one victim was never going to be an option... not for this killer.

Part thriller, part mystery, part police procedural Touch will take you deep into the madness of a serial killer's mind.

Touch is the first book in the Charlotte Savage series. The second book will be out in early 2012.

Reviews from Amazon:

I realy enjoyed this book. Set in Plymouth and the West Country, the scenes are atmospheric and realistic. I can't comment on the plot without giving it away, I'll just say I didn't get lost and there weren't any of those annoying coincidences that authors have to dredge up to move the plot on. It's exciting and convincing.

Crime novels can often lack in humour, as if the nature of the subject gets in the way too much, but wherever people work together they have a laugh together, and these characters are very real.

I gather this is the first of a series and I look forward to more of Charlotte Savage. Oh yes, a bonus, Mark Sennen knows how to write well.
